Simonis 860 stock?

Hey folks,

Went to purchase my first table but the table supplier informed me that the Simonis factory had a fire and there's a nationwide shortage of 860 cloth. They said I could supply my own if I could find, but said it's really hard to find and there's price gouging going on. Looking for 8' gray cloth. Color does matter :/

Questions:
1) Anyone know of any stores with stock and not price gouging?
2) I have found one or two but it's sites like eBay or 3rd party sellers on Amazon without Prime. Is there risk of counterfeit? Will I know if the cloth is legit Simonis 860?
3) Should I just go for an alternative like Champion Tour or if I can't find it am I better off waiting 6+ months?

Just make sure the seller takes refunds.

If you're concerned at all there are high-quality alternatives, some even made in America. The Simonis shortage has gifted us all with the opportunity to look elsewhere and give some other cloth manufacturers a shot.

Thanks so much. With all my searching not sure how I missed that thread. Maybe because it had 860HR in the title rather than just 860. Great thread...im only one page 1 but seems to answer a lot of my questions...Thanks again
 
I just bought predator cloth, very happy with it. Very very fast in the beginning, but starting to slow down a little. Just wiped the cloth down with a hot microfiber rag, comes out looking brand new. Wasn’t going to wait for simiones

Simonis is good but it's overrated imo. If you can't find it Andys, Gordina, or Champion are some solid options.
