Hold a dictionary out in front of you with straight arms for 5 minutes.takes all of about 10min total to do a full set. must be pretty short of patience.
If you can stomach the noise. Not sure what holing a dictionary has to do with cleaning a set of balls. Is it really that strenuous to clean 8 balls for 2-3 minutes then repeat for the other 8?Hold a dictionary out in front of you with straight arms for 5 minutes.
Now do it for ten.
This is the fix for the bucket cleaner.

Yes it really is.Is it really that strenuous to clean 8 balls for 2-3 minutes then repeat for the other 8?
You don't know how to multitask? My polisher has a timer on it. I set it and forget it and go about vacuuming my table or cleaning the rails or cleaning my shafts or vacuuming the carpet. When it shuts off, I take a 30 second break from what I'm doing and set the second cycle. I don't know of anyone who sits there watching the balls getting polished. I'm pretty fastidious about having clean balls on the table and even I don't clean them every day.Yes it really is.
If you clean your balls every day it comes out to about 18 extra hours a year. One entire extra day of your waking hours of cleaning balls because you thought half and half would be fine.
I guess it's just me? I don't like half measures.
wow. something wrong with you.Yes it really is.

Probably a little bit of both.he's either pulling our leg or he's a bubble off.

For your opinion? No. For your reasoning? Possibly.Should I be shunned, ridiculed and insulted for my opinion?
Made a different versionI and many others don't have the patience to clean half the balls at a time. Life is only so long.
I bet that would be even better with another buffer on top of the balls.Made a different version

HDPE.What material? Any problem with it scuffing the polish in the balls?
I've built quite a few of these over the last 5 years or so and started using a spray on glue but found that it would seep through the carpet and on the the balls. Not sure if the hot glue would but I started using velcro to secure the carpet and works like a charm.I saw this on reddit and had a buddy print this for me. I ended up using hot glue to glue felt to the ring. It seems to do a great job. The 3d files are listed in the above link. Really nice of him to upload the files for everyone to use.
Why not contact adhesive in an aerosol can? It sprays on thin and if used properly shouldn't bleed through anything since the adhesive is basically dry when the two surfaces are mated.I've built quite a few of these over the last 5 years or so and started using a spray on glue but found that it would seep through the carpet and on the the balls. That's what I used. I was cleaning 100 sets of balls per week and noticed that the balls had some substance. Switching to velcro cleared up the issue and also makes it easier to change out the carpet. But it's possible that I used too much adhesive. Why not contact adhesive in an aerosol can? Odd. I've never had an issue. You can also try carpet tape. That's what I switched to.That's what I used. I was cleaning 100 sets of balls per week and noticed that the balls had some substance.
