Update: after further review I am not really using ghost ball.I can run a table of 9 ball faster than Luc Salvas....I can do a video of me running one of his racks.
- I am walking into my next shot, chalking or not...I am not a habitual chalker.
- My body naturally aligns to the english I need as I approach the shot. I do not stand behind the ball...my "aiming" is a fluid motion. I may pause slighty if waiting for the cueball to arrive for me, air guitar my cue, and rock on my back foot like you see the pros do a lot before dropping down on the shot. ie filler or shaw or the more natural shooters. Some players do this while chalking.
- I just drop in the shot...no eye patterns because they are fatiguing. If I drop off the english I aligned for then I will feel off balanced or twisted...this is how I confirm I am good...also I can see if everything looks good too...but sometimes you have to trust your body not your eyes.
