You're sorely mistaken if you think coaching doesn't matter in the MC because they "aren't calling plays." Assisting with team chemistry, ability to handle pressure, and planning strategic matchups are a major part of the deal.

believe what you want. the US ek'd out a couple wins with him as coach. big deal. the Euro's have won with many coaches. they have better players. pure and simple. European big table talent is so much better than in the US its a joke.

The Euros generally mesh better together as a team and their mental games are better when things are against them.

That's usually the product of good coaching/leadership. It's the same in almost every sport.

whatever. we wore their asses out up until the level of European play caught up. we had better players was the reason. not any more.
