Dynasphere Bronze balls......$100

Are they the same as Cyclops balls?
Same factory makes them. dynasphere is a brand owned by same co. that owns gabriels tables, molinari cues and others. they contracted with xin bing(factory) to be their ball maker. dynasphere designs and oversees qc on the balls.

I got my Dynasphere Tungstens in August 2020 for my home table. They still look brand new.
I've had a set of tungsten for over three yrs. Lots of play . Never had a ball act funny no nicks. They play great and I got them for 75$ shipped from olhausen I believe. Yea it sucks that they are China made. But atleast it's not overpriced like predator brand shit

Predator balls are made by Aramith. Very good balls.

My Cyclops balls wore (chipped and cracked) poorly and a junk.

Back to Aramith

Just received my Dynasphere Bronze set today and put them in play for about 10 racks. Upon opening the box they shined like gems, on the table they look even better. I noticed a little more ball interaction between the cue ball and the object ball when I put side spin on the cue ball. For $115 they are hard to beat.

Damn, why are they so cheap in the US but so expensive in Japan?

30k+ yen in Japan. ($226 with the current exchange rate, but it's more like paying $300).

Most places are out of Bronze's. The set that replaces it(US market) will be the Vanadium at about 150bux higher price. If you want Bronzes find 'em and buy 'em while u can.

Yes, it looks like more people are realizing how good the balls are and Dynasphere is raising its prices (appropriately) in response. I love mine.

I'm sure I bought my set on amazon canada for $150CAD less than a year ago. They are now around $250CAD on amazon.

***EDIT***

There may have been a foreign contaminant on/in my tip, causing the problem.
I've hit with the balls for at least another 4 hours and have found no new marks on any of the balls.
The same mark was put on a red circle while I was trying to figure it out.

Ordered a set of the bronze from Amazon.
They look great.
After hitting about three racks worth I noticed a scuff on the 2 ball. I spent a couple minutes polishing it and the scuff did not come off. I hit with the balls perhaps another half hour. I noticed some black spots on the balls
- probably from the leather pockets being new. I then inspected the plain cue ball and found several scuff marks. These marks felt rough and had no shine to them even after hand polishing. The set came with a polishing cloth but it had no effect on the flat finish scuff marks.
I've owned centennials for probably 15 years that did not do this, nor did i notice these marks on the cyclops balls I had on my last table.
30 minutes was enough time for me to know they are going back.
I guess I'll buy a new set of centennials. I'm trying to avoid giving aramith any money after what they did to the 5 ball. I know it's not all their sets. It still tarnished their rep in my eyes.
Any other quality options out there other than the centennials?
