Note that the balls are racked at the other end of the table from the pockets. There is a game specifically played on these tables but I forget what it is called. These tables are named after that game. I saw one awhile back, must have been a few whiles, I don't remember where!
I saw a huge table too, maybe 10x20 or 12x24. It had an inner and outer set of four legs and best I recall eight pockets, four on each side! Tried to talk the tour guide into letting me hit a ball or two on it but the spoilsport wouldn't. Something about not an enhancement to job security. Hell this is a college student working a summer gig. What is a few more weeks to lay in the sun? I wanted to see the monster table again but when I was traveling a lot I often visited old homes and museums. I think I saw it in an old home but that still leaves dozens of possibilities.
