Notebooks?

Kobachi

Scarred but Smarter
Yes notebooks. A buddy of mine started making these from old VHS covers. I sent him a couple and he returned these to me. Very happy with them. Great work. I thought I’d share pics if anyone was interested in sending him some as well. I think you may be able to replace the paper if you run out.

I’m thinking about using one to jot down details about the too many cues I own and promise I’m going to sell but never do.

The other one I’m going to document all of my one-pocket runouts in detail. I don’t plan on ever using it.

Enjoy!

Oh good lord. Appreciate it for what it is. He’s repurposing what would normally end up in a land fill. And he goes through all the trouble of removing the actual tape and recycling the plastic shells. I’m putting him in for sainthood. You on the other hand…if you ever come to Chicago, I’m buying you your first Malort.

Pretty cool idea.

I can see it being a legal thing though. Friend started selling movie and music themed mousepads. The guy who played Booger in the Nerds movies thought it was awesome. The guy who played Bo Duke did not share a similar sentiment. His lawyer sent a cease and desist letter demanding royalties.

On the other hand my brother in law bought his wife one of those cricket machines and made an Etsy shop. She started wrapping those Yeti style tumbler mugs. They took a dozen of those that looked like Busch corn cans up to the local bar, The (un)Friendly Inn, and sold out in a couple hours at $35 bucks a pop. They just change one little thing that isn’t very noticeable and claim that they can’t get nailed for copyright infringement. I dunno, but it’s been a couple years and they haven’t got popped yet. Pretty good side-hustle for them.
