You drop 6-9dimes on a table there shouldn't be ANY marks. The dyeing must be done very haphazardly for some to have the issues and others that don't. They really need to go with some type of plastic like every other major maker.Black Marks Happen
Not a big deal. Small inconvenience imo
Not arguing ur point, but it’s been like this for ~20 years. Things evolve slowly in pool. Give it 20 more and I’m sure there will be some memo from the factory that it’s “possible” there are black marks. You drop 6-9dimes on a table there shouldn't be ANY marks. have a 25 year old gold crown with no marks, this is not a good evolution. Not arguing ur point, but it’s been like this for ~20 years. Things evolve slowly in pool. Give it 20 more and I’m sure there will be some memo from the factory that it’s “possible” there are black marks.

I get that they are nice tables and the company contributes to pool but they really need to pay attention to letting the owners down. There are other table manufacturers that are willing to supply tables for tournaments these days and although people can point to those table's weeknesses, the same was true of diamond when they came on the scene. My 2 yr old proam with ball return is a definite marker.

I wonder what percentage of affected owners have contacted diamond and correction.I get that they are nice tables and the company contributes to pool but they really need to pay attention to letting the owners down. On yours do you think its the pockets or something further the ball-return chain? I've never actually seen these marks in person. Diamonds i've been around range from 10+yrs old to new and none have left marks.Tell um.
I msg'd chad at D'mond and he said he's workin' Derby and would get back after its done.I wonder what percentage of affected owners have contacted diamond and correction.
I know I have not.
I ASSume it it the pockets. On yours do you think its the pockets or something further the ball-return chain? I've never actually seen these marks in person. Diamonds i've been around range from 10+yrs old to new and none have left marks.
Have Chad send new pockets and a mechanic, stat.I msg'd chad at D'mond and he said he's workin' Derby and would get back after its done.
You'd think its from the pockets just due the speed at which they hit the leather.I ASSume it it the pockets.
Guess I could channel my inner Dr Dave and get all sciency about it and know for sure but that's not why I go to the lab.
I got a clean set of balls and will take note next time I see em.
Me three.Same for me
Are you ready to swap back in a GC? Maybe a 5 this time?Have Chad send new pockets and a mechanic, stat.
I'll really take either or both.
I don't think so.Are you ready to swap back in a GC? Maybe a 5 this time?![]()
