Brand new Diamond table marking balls

You drop 6-9dimes on a table there shouldn't be ANY marks. The dyeing must be done very haphazardly for some to have the issues and others that don't. They really need to go with some type of plastic like every other major maker.
Not arguing ur point, but it’s been like this for ~20 years. Things evolve slowly in pool. Give it 20 more and I’m sure there will be some memo from the factory that it’s “possible” there are black marks.

Can’t rush into things, this is pool,

have a 25 year old gold crown with no marks, this is not a good evolution.

My 2 yr old proam with ball return is a definite marker.

I get that they are nice tables and the company contributes to pool but they really need to pay attention to letting the owners down. There are other table manufacturers that are willing to supply tables for tournaments these days and although people can point to those table's weeknesses, the same was true of diamond when they came on the scene.

I wonder what percentage of affected owners have contacted diamond and correction.

I know I have not.

On yours do you think its the pockets or something further the ball-return chain? I've never actually seen these marks in person. Diamonds i've been around range from 10+yrs old to new and none have left marks.
I ASSume it it the pockets.

Guess I could channel my inner Dr Dave and get all sciency about it and know for sure but that's not why I go to the lab.

I got a clean set of balls and will take note next time I see em.

In memory of Realkingcobra the savior of professional pool……

Just shut up and be grateful you have a Diamond to play on.

You people are so ungrateful and picky. 😆

I lied. I didn't effort that shit at all.

However, I did fire the same ball in a few times and look at it after each awesome occasion... and are we ready to confirm the diamond leather dye is transferring?

I think we are and have been for a long while.
