$30 for a piece of chalk...What's your favorite chalk to use?

I prefer Triangle as it seems a little harder than Master and less likely to build a coat. I hear the snooker comments extoling Taom, at the same time I see the yellow Triangle wrapper on the chalk in Ronnie O'Sullivan's hand. I don't feel a need to try another chalk at this time.

Taom V10. It performs as any good chalk should and it's clean clean. Even better it is the color of money. Who enjoys seeing blue spots all over the CB? Not me.
Best chalk I’ve ever used. A friend of mine gave me a piece of Taom Pyro to try first and I liked it a lot. Felt just as good as the Magic Chalk I was using at the time, but a lot cleaner. Then a different guy gave me a piece of V-10 and I was instantly sold on it. Just as clean as the Pyro and, imo, coats the tip and grips the ball even better.

Masters for the most part .. I've never tried any of the boutique chalks .. hell SVB uses masters and if it's good enough for him it's definitely good enough for me
Studies have been done that show just about any decent chalk will work as well as any other if you use it properly.
I like a chalk that is abrasive, yet NOT MESSY.
Masters for dirty equipment, V10 for clean equipment.
I am lucky enough to have access to a couple of private rooms where the tables and balls are kept CLEAN. This is where the more expensive chalk is well worth it. Less chalk on the balls = less skidding and cling.

Masters or triangle for me. I tried blue diamond didn't like it.the predator one was ok.
I probably use chalk too much. To buy anything more expensive, than the predator.

I tried a piece of Navigator recently. All it did was wipe the V-10 off my tip. Wouldn’t even actually chalk the tip. Imagine my surprise when I found out it’s $26 a cube.
I use Masters. I’ve tried a good portion in the video.
The worst is by far silver cup.
The Kamui chalk is the best product by far. But it dirty’s the balls up so it’s not often used. But it grips the balls the best. You’ll see some pros carry around a piece of Kamui just in case the conditions are awful or their tip is going out midmatch.
The taom is fine. Same with the predator chalk.

I found that also with silver cup. Just awful stuff.

True, but not the point. I use Taom because it saves me time and money not having to clean up the mess from some of these messy, dusty chalks. Over a year, that may be a few hours of finding the vacuum, the nozzles, carting it up the stairs and wearing out my cloth by vacuuming it. Oh, and wearing out my tips, each one of which may cost more to buy and install as block of V10 that will last me until the end of 2025 since I only play about 10 or 15 hours a week. I do keep a cube of Predator with me to play places where I don't have to clean up afterwards.
I was trying to be funny.
The local bar ran out of chalk cubes one day, so we used white black-board chalk as a substitute.
It worked better than nothing, but less well than Masters.
Kamui .98, but I do not chalk up very often. My second choice is pre flag Masters.
