2023 World Snooker Championship / April 15th - May 1st

He gets a setter off the safety exchange opening. Really needs to make a statement. What drama. Power VS power.

Are there ever any racking controversies in snooker? Or it doesn't matter much since it's a safe break? Do the refs use a triangle rack, or hand place all the balls? (the camera doesn't show the racking, at least while I'm tuned in).

A couple min ago Brecel was shooting with the bridge (as viewing the tv) a red in the left pocket, and trying to carom in to a cluster with a black and 2 reds. He hit it a million miles an hour and missed. Why was he hitting so hard? It looked like the CB was naturally going towards the cluster with a rolling ball hit. And that it would have done a good job breaking the cluster at a rolling ball speed.

"Is he taking a pot on here?" Plop is the answer.... Si follows it with the.... Ouuuuu. Just 1.

Listen to the comments. World class lessons.

Luca trying to show Ronnie that he deserves......to carry the flag for the cue ball last side.😉

I know which flag Mark Allen carries. As for Selby....I Don't Care. (Just Kidding). Haven't looked close enough to be sure. My impression is of a snake and the hypnotic stare.🤷

They showed it (Luca's eye pattern) Stephen remained silent. Never want the comments curse. He did put the fine control on display. 1 more. What a finish we are moving towards.

The fine control on the cue ball reaping the reward in the last frame, that was the longest.
The strength of Luca bringing just the slightest doubt for Si. He better wash that from his mind during break.

There have been controversies but I suspect never over the rack. The honor code leads to players calling a foul on themselves if it's missed by the ref. Or in a replacement if they disagree with the placement they speak up, even if the missed placement would be to their advantage.
Perhaps the original rack is non questionable.
