Trying to find info on this old Alcalde cue for a friend. Has 9 shafts, some carom, some pool. Has octogonal butt and wooden pin.

Hahah guess not maybe they meant Decade-itionary. This was made a while ago lol

nothing special , just the remembrance of this spanish cuemaker , since you asked for infos ...
i have a friend who owns 2 Alcalde , his shafts were very good, the butt design is typical to alcalde . But he still waits the delivery of his 3d cue ;-) , like many of his late foreign customers .
unfortunatly I've heard than mr Alcalde died a couple of years ago..
anyway it was good stuff , even the man & is wife wasn't so nice... ( <- around 10 years ago, i wanted one for my collection, so i called them one time (after many tries i must confess) the wife was horrible on the phone , so i didn't order , of course...)

Wow very interesting, thank you for the info. Pretty sure this one was bought back in the 80s. Wasn't sure if it had any value especially with 9 shafts. A semi Pro billiards player used it.

IMHO the value is hard to evaluate because they are rare but not so sought after ( octogonal butt...) . But I guess it can be a real good carom cue to play with, if you like the feel of an octogonal butt. and It's highly probable that the butt is compatible with adam wood-jointed shafts. That's an interesting cue for an 'old school' carom player...
what are the shafts diameters ?
