world championship billiards phone app is really good. haven't played in a year or so, but it's a good substitute when there's no billiard table in your city
The first commercial carom simulator (which also does pool and snooker) is Virtual Pool. It has a very good simulation. I think they are currently on VP 4.
My favorite is still a simple, standalone executable file that a French mathmetician created years ago and released on his personal website.
The physics in it are amazingly well-done, especially for a dude who worked on it in his spare time (presumably). I'm happy to shre with anyone who wants it; the website has been offline for many years now.

Obviously I can't vouch for the safety of downloading it from here. However the executables that I have I've run across many, many PCs over the years and I'm comfortable saying aren't malicious.

Caromball has been designed by a high level carom player and is dedicated to carom billiards only. It's only carom but it's carom in depth.
Got froze out on step 5 of training.

I'm back home and i try to see what could happen to you. At step 5 of the tutorial, did you adjust the english so as to make the point ? While you don't make the carom, you cannot go to the next step. Maybe that was the case ? Sorry for my great customer relations, that was just humour...now thats a great customer relations remark.....
