Anniversary table

Morning, just purchased an Anniversary 8ft pro in very good shape. Appears to only be felted 2 or 3 times. The rails and bases have polished up nicely and the cushions are the original monarch in very good shape.
Wondering what's the easy way to polish the metal base trims and corners without damaging the protective coating if there is one.
Probably gonna refelt her in Somonis Green or blue. Does anyone have pics of theirs in either color to help me decide. Leaning towards green as the color for that era.

This is how the broken piece looks reassembled. Read somewhere I can superglue the seam after it's leveled out.
There was a gap of 1/8" on the outside of the main frame to slate backer where it was screwed down w no shim.

What a steal, congrats on that find. Unless I’m mistaken, the GC slate is interchangeable with the Anniversary slate, the dowels being the main difference. Maybe a local table mechanic has a lead on 8’ slates.

The pixel dimensions of the image are all that matter. Choose 800 px for the biggest dimension and let the other dimension get set automatically.

Yep I think so as well. I don’t think slate would break that clean. I’m pretty sure my Anniversary is Brunstone and it looks like that too. Slate typically has circular mill marks and there are no mill marks in my slate.

Nickel plating is VERY expensive.

The second to last step in chrome plating, so basically you are paying for chrome minus the chrome itself.

Keeps telling me file size too large. Think I got it this time. Had to reduce to 60%

Looks like Brunstone to me, same thing I have on my GCI. Many people said Brunstone sucks, slate is much better, I had zero problems with my Brunstone.

But for some reason, nickel plating is more than chrome plating. I've restored a few cars in my past and I've found this to be the case.

That's odd, I get a lot race car stuff nickel plated, it has historically been slightly less and is less likely to peel on stuff that flexes.

Could be a regional thing, who knows. I wanted some '64 GTO Grills (aluminum) nickel plated and they wanted more than chrome plating.

I've not used this exact product but I have used Autosol products in the past. Good stuff! I'm looking forward to seeing the results. Be sure and take before and after pics.

Congrats on your purchase. I polished my bands and corner castings. You will go through the anodizing if you go that way. Post your results when you get a chance.

How'd did u polish them without damaging the anodizing or did u remove it?

Nickel is done in house, chrome is outsourced to Mexico
