Printed along the edge of the bolt. May not see it on every piece. The blacklight strip is on there every meter. So it seems like sometimes its on the cloth from the factory, and sometimes its applied after installation.
I've never seen it in a pool room. Is that because most of those installations are from a big bolt of cloth and the mechanic rips the rail cloth from the bolt? When you buy Simonis in a "single table package", is it always printed? I have 860 on my home table and it does not have it. I've been in dozens of rooms with 760 and 860 over the years and I've never seen it.
the blacklight strip is in the cloth ever meter. i check'd a table once for a friend and he was not too happy to find out that his installer charged him for simonis but actually used cheaper stuff. i'm not sure what yr they started using this id strip but its been a while. The last time my rails were covered the Simonis brand showed on the head rail just under the nose cushion for a few days, but I suspect after the first cloth cleaning with Woolite it got erased. It looked fine to me. It might still be visible with a black light.
Thanks for reminding me that I need to get a black light, not necessarily for inspecting table cloth, but for scorpion searches in the house. Ah the critters we have to deal with down here in West Texas. Lol It must be the year for the scorpion.the blacklight strip is in the cloth ever meter. i check'd a table once for a friend and he was not too happy to find out that his installer charged him for simonis but actually used cheaper stuff. i'm not sure what yr they started using this id strip but its been a while.

I don't recall seeing how Simonis does it. Other cloth I have had used vinyl lettering. I didn't like it so we removed it easily with a heat gun.Simonis has the cloth type(860,760,etc) printed on the edge and that blacklight-readable security strip is printed every meter on the cloth.
One side of the roll will have writing on it every couple of feet or so. It's fairly small and hard to notice, but if you take some of the rail cloths off of that side it's possible to have the writing visible after installing. If you buy a single cut, it depends entirely on how the supplier cuts the cloth, and it can vary. Usually I see the writing on the bed cloth. I've also heard they put writing on the cloth that's visible to UV or black light, but I've never actually bothered to look.Is that because most of those installations are from a big bolt of cloth and the mechanic rips the rail cloth from the bolt?
