Men vs Women

There is no such thing as "break power" it's called that but that is an incorrect term for what you are measuring, it's break SPEED, IMHO speed is way more important on any shot, on a long draw shot the ability to spin the cue ball depends on how FAST you hit it not how hard, and of course the follow through, men have better quick twitch muscle fiber and some men have better quick twitch muscle fiber than others but it is an advantage that most men hold over most women.
In pool stroke speed = power.

Freddie, I think that the major difference between men and women stems from the traditional roles that each one had and the evolution based off of those roles.

Men were the hunters. They needed to be spatially aware of their surroundings, know tracking and how to return home, make quick decisions, kill prey without much discrimination before it gets away and the meal is lost. Time was devoted towards physical performance.

Women were nurturers and gatherers. They would spend time looking for the very best fruits and nuts, and from this developed the ability to become aware of very fine details within short term memory. They provided love and glued family together, and usually we’re in charge of running the household because of their better organization skills.

You can’t survive off of nuts alone, and you can’t maintain mental health without love and encouragement. Men and women evolved alongside one another and they need each other equally to be happy and to survive.

Today we have the technology to only change appearance but not to change instincts. The instinctual difference is what causes the problem in sports.

If there was a sport which introduced a person to a room full of objects for 10 seconds, and then asked the person to list all the things they remember, women would win every time. We can argue that this is even more impressive than being good at poking balls on a cloth table.

Maybe they need to. Not much else is currently working. Maybe some "men" can go to a Greyhound racetrack and try to enter some races by saying, "I'm a dog (Greyhound) and I want to race. You have to respect and abide by my rights."
I'm just saying that the testing isn't going to be needed to prove XX or XY 99.9999% of the time. They're openly admitting they aren't women. You know why they call themselves trans women? Because even they know they aren't women

Would any of you complain if a female that became a man took over as your shipping manager at your job, and all of a sudden your company made every delivery on time, because they are so much more organized than men? Is that an unfair advantage for men wanting that job?

That job was not restricted to men or women so it has nothing to do with the problem discussed

True, you are right. What else has a gender division besides competitions? Careers used to but it was unwritten.

All amateur events will need to go to open fargo handicaps to get away from this debate.

It sucks, but that may stop the men from stealing the women's money and titles.

How long until some 25 year old nobody identifies as a junior and begins stealing all of their titles?

Many people refuse to grow up, so identifying as a kid should have the full support of the people who support the men robbing the women events.

Both age and sex are easily verified but we currently only enforce one of them.

Clown world.

Its true that the sex deal doesn't mean as much in pool as other games/sports. Problem is, imo, that you have to draw lines somewhere/sometime. With Fargo being the big thing now all players should play each other UNLESS the event is one that is clearly stated 'women/ladies'. In that case i don't think a trans should be allowed.

Damn skippy bro. Agree 1000%.

There are natural divisions when it comes to work that requires a lot of physical strength. There may be 1 woman steel worker or mason for every 100 men simply because the physical demand weeds out those who cannot perform. Occasionally there is a woman who is a bad ass and can hang with the men. We could demand that the 99% of women who are not bad asses be allowed to work those jobs and just stand around and watch nothing get built. Or we can accept reality.

I don’t like your avatar. It is scary.

The difference lies in the ability of the human's speed to deliver the stroke, not all have the ability to deliver a 30mph stroke, which is my point.
It takes the same amount of power to move the CB the same speed no matter how heavy the cue is (a slower moving heavier cue and a faster moving lighter cue can deliver the same force to the CB).

I'm unclear on how you differentiate between fast and hard. I think for most people talking about shots those words are synonyms.

And careful study has shown that follow through is not important except for making sure you hit the ball fast/hard. The ball is on the tip for only about a quarter-inch of travel.
