I played on Predator cloth. I liked it.

Balls roll with the grain on occasion(granted when going very slowly) and this makes a massive difference playing one pocket(the only thing we play anymore really for cheese anyway). Can make a big difference when trying to cut someone off from something or an area next to a ball.

It happened almost every game at least once where the cue ball takes a path it simply can’t without some oddity like the grain pattern “anomaly” that I’ve only seen on this trash cloth. And I’ve seen it on separate tables in 2 separate rooms.

This part is more preference and doesn’t actually matter much but it also seemed to show chalk spots more than Simonis which is bad considering how poorly the blue Simonis is in that regard as well. Like when I hit anything with pace you instantly get a spot there(using Master).

I’ll never play a big match on it again.
At first I thought the table just wasn’t level but that absolutely wasn’t the case over time it became clear the grain of the cloth was the reason.

Dude somonis , Andy’s and championship do the same thing 😂 that’s called marketing.

That doesn't mean I like it....Dude
Until now the felt makers have never put their logos under the rail on the short rail.
Now suddenly all the pool cloth makers have to do this? So sad.
It's not happening in Snooker.
We get endless marketing that makes no sense and is all over the place everywhere you look.

Dirt?
I didn't say anything about dirt. Unless you're calling the Predator name and logo dirt, then...yes!

Lol so you changed the post...lol..
First you say "if you're worried about dirt under the rails", now it's this. hehe
never had dirt in the post. the guy that responded said dirt not me. i edited for a misspell. might want to check your meds, you're seein shit.

worsted wool is uni-directional and has no 'grain' like old school woolen. you're the only person i've heard knock it like this. i still think it was under-stretched, put on upside down or both. a lot of idiot installers do not know that worsted has sheared play side.

Smart man.
Great spelling and grammar, nothing at all wrong with it.
Everything is perfect with you.

Of course no way to verify it was flawlessly stretched but I can say with ultimate confidence the installer had it “right side up” it was smooth side up for sure.

I’m trying to describe what I experienced. Sorry my words don’t fit the narrative. But they are spot on with my experience.

All 4 of our bar league tables were done with this cloth. It played ok at the start but got slow over time and did not wear as well or long as simonis. We just got 860 on them and like an old friend, it just feels right and is wearing much better. Getting new racks and 22w led bright bulbs (200w equivalent) didn't hurt either. Either way, always make sure you stretch it more than you think when you install either...

Exactly what do you mean by 'not wear well'? Showed more marks or what? I've played on a few different brands and once the slick/shiny 'new' wore off they all played about the same til being replaced. A really grimy table will play slower as will loose cloth. I'm not a Predator homer by any stretch(pardon that one) but i have not heard bad reports on their cloth. Here's a 6mo review:
Tough to reconcile what was said here vs. this guy's review along with what PredProSeries attendees have told me.

It needed to be replaced sooner than 860 in the past, given the same amount of day to day play and showed more stains.
