Hi All

I’m going to be in Orlando over Xmas. Any recommendations of pool halls. Or also if there are any friendly tournaments over that period?

The room by Disney World (Back Stage) is good and Cue Phoria.

Racks looks good but they’re in Sanford. Six 9’ Diamonds. I’ll have to make it a point next time I’m in Orlando. Usually I’m near ORL so I’m not sure about the drive to Racks.
 
call and see if they allow smoking. if that may bother you, as pool rooms in florida have that option.

What part of town are you going to be staying in?

Racks is genuinely worth the drive, but if you're a long ways away there may be a couple of other lesser options I could point you towards.

You can usually find a couple of tournaments by looking at any of them the numerous Florida/central Florida Facebook pool pages...

I have to admit I'm not a big fan of that place.

I'm not terribly impressed by the management, very little in the way of food, not much room/seating around the tables and the tables aren't maintained particularly well.

Other than that it's great! 😁

I think it's called Trick Shots? Not too far from resorts and lots of tables, no smoking.

Cue Phoria was great but it's been years for me... also a bit further away.
 
I visited Racks in May 23. Well worth the trip. They opened at 11 am and from 11 am until 5 pm, if you bought $10 worth of food you received free pool till 5. Food was good, priced accordingly for an upscale billiards room.
I was there on a Wednesday to meet up with Jerry Raunzaun. It was league night and very crowded.
I am looking forward to another trip to Florida and Racks.

Ill be staying near the convention centre
