Whoever let that out of the shop intentional or not should be fired. Yikes.

I once called a cuemaker and asked him if he can sell me his mess ups or cues not so perfect and he said no. I even requested him to erase his trademark/name off the cue and he still said no.

The pain.

The good news....it is rare and will be worth 25k. LOL

No photo or it didn't happen. Lol. At least a link.

Lol. It's tuff when you can't hide all your mistakes with black Filler like normal, even then, this is so bad he couldn't hide the mistakes with black filler
I think if you zoom in on any cue you will see flaws.

This BB is hand made with some of the finest materials and handmade.

Those tiny imperfections wouldn't bother me (much). You have to look closely and be picky even to notice them. IMO, if it was a 15K cue without any defects, those tiny defects might reduce the value to 14K. Still a beautiful cue.

At 15k plus for a cue, those "imperfections" should be non-existent, IMO. I doubt that Tony had eyes on that cue before it left his shop.
No dog in the fight. Carry on.
😎

I would NOT be buying that cue.
And by the way, there are cuemakers who do flawless work. Every time.
I also wonder if Tony saw that one leave the shop.

I'm with you Will. I have my doubts.

If those images weren't blown up so much, you'd need young eagle eyes even to spot those defects. Will be interesting to see how Tony responds to all this and what he'll do about that cue.

Naw he doesn't need to respond.

This is why I don't allow loupes from potential buyers. They bring it. I leave.
