This info is out there. Just search each player's equipment. Most use production stuff by Pred, Mezz,Peri,JFlowers, Viking, Meucci, etc.

Ah Hell, be nice to the newby kid...

Kid, just buy this, and I'm sure you'll be shooting as well as Shane after a few hours of play. Then you could sign up for the US Open, and amaze the pool world! (Well, it could happen...)

If I remember correctly he uses HOW cue tips .

In the day George Balabushka very well could of made the best pool cue or for arguments sake the gold standard of cues .
A good friend of mine was a past business partner with George and he would tell you that he made the best pool cue .
I feel the best cue is the one the over all does what you need it to do to get through a rack of balls more times than not , I've shot well with a old broom handle but I'm not going to take it out on the road for every game ha ha .

Talk about a javelin, that would make it about a 131" (10 feet 11 inches) cue, lets see someone chalk that puppy. You could play on a 12' snoookah table without an extension.
Only reason folks ain’t playin with a 35 inch butt is because they don’t make a case to fit one…maybe that’s the next big thing 🤔 It seems crazy more production companies aren’t offering long cues, once league players got wind of them it would spread like aiming systems, best tips, stroke trainers and any other gadget…except the cues wouldn’t fade away.

I have a warp resistant signed SVB cue. It's a monster player. I'll let it go for $3k (plus shipping and insurance)

This holds true for places without obstructions or walls close to tables. Lots of home tables barely fit into the rooms they're in and you'd be reaching for a short cue for a lot of shots. I've been in lots of bars that have walls or poker machines, or whatever that are too close. At least with an extension, you can remove it for the occasional obstruction.
It still might happen some day.

Hi fellows,

Thank you for the information! Some interesting comments.

If you were not worried about the money and you were invited to play in a prestigious pool competition, which pool cue would you buy and play with?

Thanks,
