I was an account manager for a company that manufactured those and I had an account in Oregon (imagine that) that had a bunch of homeless people on house arrest. So I came up with a plan to put shelves in the front office of the probation/parole office and the homeless people had to come in once a day and sit there while their units charged. Needless to say, they weren't happy and, needless to say, we didn't care
.That particular one actually looks like a SCRAM unit that detects alcohol use, you can tell because there are two sides to it, regular house arrest units look more like a large watch. My guess is she had a DUI and is not homeless.
