Wrap question?

What wrap do you think the bottom Carmeli cue has? The top Pierce has Florida Pebble, which is too raised and shiny for me. Is the bottom one Lattice?

Both look the same, one just looks more worn.

Martin at Superior thought the bottom was Football (not Super Football, which is more shiny). When the bottom wrap was new, it did not look as shiny as the much newer top wrap and did not feel as "plasticky" as the top wrap (instead it was more matte and a little "tacky" feeling).

The worn down theory is valid. Bottom one probably had a less deep embossing. There is some variation

If the difference was due to wear, I doubt that the wear would be even throughout the entire wrap, and I certainly wouldn't expect to see much at the very front of the wrap…

I agree. Here is a picture just after I got the cue. Definitely not as shiny and raised.
