Yeah, the painted wood makes it harder to recognize. I thought it might be concrete framing for something large but the lower beams would be spaced much farther apart than the upper ones for a typical structure. By the way what is the point of a pergola? No protection from the rain, wind, sun, theft, or nosy neighbors. Is it just for when you're bored and have some extra wood laying around?

Next, I calculated what that represented in purchasing power in 2024. In the next column, I converted the 2024 values to USD. Finally, I looked up to see what it would cost to book each band for one night for a corporate event in 2024.

Nothing earth-shattering, but I thought it sort of interesting.

That's very interesting. And I think Joe Cocker was very well established in his career at that point. The others had yet to reach their peaks.

You can hang plants on them. I imagine if the builder knew what they were doing you could get them to block sun at some point in the day.
