What’s a reasonable going rate for a 5/16x14 Predator Z2 or 314 2 shaft? Also a Jacoby Edge Hybrid? I don’t see many listed and don’t play with LD but have someone looking at one. Also whats the best way to cost effectively ship 1 shaft, I prefer to ship a cue in a hard 1xX case but cost effective cases to ship are getting hard to come by. Thx, Shooter08

Ship via UPS. A 30/31" tube is best with shaft wrapped in bubble wrap. A good wad of paper at top and bottom finishes the job

And buy the shipping on Pirate Ship, I've found their rates to be pretty good.

My experience with the shaft prices is if you see one for 150 grab it, most will probably be 2 - 250 when in good shape.

I sold a Predator Z shaft- first generation for $99 last week- it was a radial joint- that was a very good price for the buyer- the Z3 used is going for $200 or so. BTW I would be careful shipping in a tube- I know that Fed Ex has a surcharge on tubes, perhaps UPS as well- not sure- the best box for shipping a cue shaft, I found, is the $3.99 box sold at USPS post office locations- it is 36X3X3-- I do not use USPS to ship, however, I use only FED EX- no surcharge on a 36 inch long box - USPS has a surcharge on boxes longer than 18 inches.
