It’s not a 6, it’s a GC5I like the 6 too. Only played on one and it was nice. It had been tightened correctly and played great. Really curious about the new 7. B'wick is playing it close to the vest. Little-to-no info it. Mark Gregory is supposed to be tech. advisor on it.
yeah, my bad.It’s not a 6, it’s a GC5
can't really tell without removing the cloth. It looks like these corners have extra large shims on them or multiple. That could cause the "off" measurement and the funny corner shape, depending on what they used to shim the pocket.
Would you say my pockets have extra large shims? It looks like these corners have extra large shims on them or multiple. That could cause the "off" measurement and the funny corner shape, depending on what they used to shim the pocket.
Slightly larger than 4.5"
Slightly larger than 4.5"
Tough to say without putting a ruler or calipers on it.4.875”?
That's a tournament edition cut. You got what you ordered. The regular cut GC corner pocket measures between about 5" and 5 1/8" at the tits.It is a beauty. Bought it from to a Mosconi Cup MVP which is why I think it's the real one.
Measured all 4 corner pockets and they seem to all be around 4.6 inches, perhaps worn out jaw makes it a hair bigger.

How do you explain this? It's the same table. That's a tournament edition cut. You got what you ordered. The regular cut GC corner pocket measures between about 5" and 5 1/8" at the tits.
The gap is bigger on stock 5" pockets. I can take a picture of my stock pockets from a GC4 and show it. His ruler picture does not lie. The balls can be a bit misleading depending on exactly how they are placed, camera angle, etc.
Based on the side pocket picture, I'd say you have a subrail extension. The corner pockets are a bit harder to see based on the picture and not being as familiar with the pocket structure of your table. It's a very pretty table sir....
Say what? The balls are 2.25” in diameter. If the table had 4.5” pockets, the balls would fit snugly between the points with no gaps. No camera angle would create gaps. The gap is bigger on stock 5" pockets. I can take a picture of my stock pockets from a GC4 and show it. His ruler picture does not lie. The balls can be a bit misleading depending on exactly how they are placed, camera angle, etc.
Yes, extensions and standard 3/16” facings.Based on the side pocket picture, I'd say you have a subrail extension. The corner pockets are a bit harder to see based on the picture and not being as familiar with the pocket structure of your table. It's a very pretty table sir....
Look at the fit of the pocket
Honestly the Balls look like AI to me. Something just weird about this pic.
The one i played on was nice. Whoever set it up knew their shit. I didn't inspect in micro-detal but all the trim/casting fits looked fine. It had ANDY988 cloth and i thought it played as good as any GC i'd seen.Look at the fit of the pocketReminds me of a GC6 I saw at the Brunswick dealer, just horrible. I would never buy a Brunswick after seeing the junk on the showroom floor.
