Fedor vs SVB score

When I went to bed, Gorst was up 108-98. He was playing like the best player ever. I said I would be shocked if he lost. Well, he did.

What happened? SVB picked up his game and started to get most of the rolls, but Gorst made a ton of mistakes. The pressure got to him. You could tell when he jump several balls off the table. Disappointing finish to say the least.

I don’t like the format. Should be no more than 100 games, but if it’s 120, spread it over four days. Each night should not finish at 4 in the morning.

I would also implement a 45 second or 1 minute shot clock.

Respect to both players, but especially Shane. He never gave up or gave in, and he withstood the pressure.

Be very, very interested to see how they do in the open. Both of them are on top of their game even if they are tired. One or two contests a day in the open should seem like child’s play.

Shane really gutted it out, what a match for him. This is a real notch on his gun belt. Gorst is as tough as they come, Shane should be proud of himself. He is his generations undisputed king of winner breaks.
Undisputed king of winner breaks, also known as real rotation pool.
.
Just because they invent ways to take wins away from svb doesn't mean we shouldn't acknowledge it for what it is. Winner breaks is the actual game, alt breaks is a fake invention to steal wins from him.

SVB is the best rotation player on earth for the last 15 years and for 10 more. He will win another US open and another world championship.
.
But he will always dog a couple straight in shots in mosconi. It's the circle of life.

This match sure had swings! In the very beginning, it looked like Gorst was going to hold Shane to 50. By the end of Day 1, it looked like Shane was going to win, but it would be close. Day 2 was great play by both, but looked like Shane had an edge, and would win the whole thing. Day 3 it looked like Fedor was stealing from Shane early on, and then most of the rest of the day. Then at the last stretch Shane went on fire and took the win.

I went to sleep when it was svb 111 to 114 at the last player break. I can’t believe he had the stamina to come back at that hour.

I agree on the late nights. Start it a few hours earlier or race to 100.
