Fedors Jump Cue

Available for purchase tomorrow. Anyone going to give it a try? A guy in my area said he got to try one out somewhere somehow. He said it was really nice. At 600 $ , hard pill to swallow. I don’t have a real nice jump cue so I thought I might give it a try and support Mr Gorst.

I'm just a banger, but the thought of that much money for a cue that I would only use once every several racks makes me itch. For that price it should do ALL the work! If I matched up regularly for cash, I'm sure I would feel different.

Same price as an Air Rush so not out of line with modern top end jump cues. If I didn't already have an Air Rush and was in the market I'd definitely consider it, looks nice. They need to come out with a nice break cue now too.

These days pool is probably my main hobby/interest, I don't mind spending a little money on it as I get hours of enjoyment every week from playing and thankfully once you have your gear pool is fairly affordable to play, unlike say golf or something.

If you take care of your gear, it will last years. Not many big break throughs happening in pool that often. I have my last cue last nearly 20 years. In that time these things came though to consider me buying

1. Adjustable weight system
2. Cue extensions
3. Better shafts

My old cue didn't have them things. A few months later i switched to a carbon fiber shaft.

I'd like to check out the Gorst cue, but i have an Air Rush. I do see this thing becoming very popular.

Agreed, I think we’re seeing probably the biggest shift ever current with the move to carbon and screw on extensions compatibility. I do think we’ll see more carbon fiber butts to come, but other than that I don’t think we’ll see another major shift like this one for quite a while

Kinda feel the same, If I had a propel or air rush I probably wouldnt entertain the thought of getting the Hyper Jump. I also got some money burning a hole in my pocket 😉

It's a damn stick and not much you can do to it. If they somehow made adjusting the balance point easy would be the next big thing. The Mcdermott system needs a little help.

I vote do it and report back for us all. Nice thing about buying something like this, the Air Rush, or the Propel....you know you have a top notch jump cue and you probably won't need to worry about getting another one for a very long time, if ever. That was a big part of my buying a BK Rush and Air Rush together....just wanted to do it once and feel done with the whole break and jump cue thing

I bought the air rush and the bk rush at the expo.
The bk was replacing my bk3. It’s a little better but not $900 better for then the bk3
the air rush replace the air 2 and it’s 100x better then the air 2. Just effortless and accurate. so I guess it depends what your playing with. If it’s an old jump cue it might be worth the money if you play a lot of rotation.

Yep slide, it's why I'm selling my 35 yr old one owner Kikel cue. Need different equipment for my game.

Banger Bob here but I can tell you that a good jump cue changes the math on the table. I bought a Propel and I can absolutely jump lights out with it. Full table solid hits, not a problem. Short 1/4 (the short way) jumps, not a problem. I've played in tournaments where I can tell the better players finally quit trying to make me jump cause I hit my object ball about 9/10 times and pot or get safe about 3/10. That might not be great odds, but for a banger, it changes the way people play me. Now, that Ghost Edition Propel was only around $400 but I never feel like I didn't get my moneys worth. Besides, if you don't like it, someone will buy it from you for $450-$500 and you wont have lost much.

I feel like the propel and the air rush are he same jump cue with different names lol I hit some with a friends and I don’t think one is better then the other. Both effortless.

Propel is a good deal too, comparatively, being $140 less than the Air Rush or this new Triple 60 one. If one doesn't have an affinity for Predator, or like in my case really wanted a special run color Predator offered, the Cuetec seems like the best buy.

But I do think this new Triple 60 one looks cooler than either of the other two. If I was in the market for new jumper and wasn't already invested in the Cuetec or Predator ecosystem and like things that matched...I'd get this new Triple 60 myself.

I'm hopeful someone I know will get one so I can try it out. With Viking being local and them having a relationship with Triple 60 I think there is a good chance I'll be seeing them around here.

Yeah. I was just using mine as an example. The new technology is so worth it when it comes to the jump cues. I havent tried the air rush, but I wouldn't disagree. The Gorst cue is probably worth every penny as well.

When will they stop giving these things ridiculous names? HYPER MEGA SUPER JUMP CHAMPION AIR.

Triple60 could just label this under 'jump cue' and put a logo on it. Much more classy, much more likely to consider it. Not really sure what separates this from its competition... an inch here or there? Slightly different aesthetic?

I'll stick with my "SUPER MEGA AIR RUSH" and wait till one of my friends inevitably buys this and I can try it.

Only thing to improve on the Air Rush is making the screw off piece slightly smaller and main piece slightly longer, and therefore slightly longer when its unscrewed. Besides that it does everything you need. Jumps the ball. Unscrewed it's too short for normal sized humans.

Best length so far I had was a Musashi Tengu the length unscrewed and screwed together were both ideal. Was a great jumper. Shame It got broken.

the purpose is likely to be as close as possible to the legal length minimum limit of 40".

What I mean is there are two screw in pieces. I think perhaps they could have lengthened the shaft, making the two screw in sections smaller segments, because for me and a few other friends, when unscrewed to it's smallest form, it's not really useful or useable. The full length is great for nearly all jumps to be fair.

Making the screw off piece slightly smaller and main piece longer sounds like you should have the propel?

i've seen people jump with about a toothpick's distance using a sub-40" cue. dart stroke of course. the air rush i've tried was very close to illegal in its shortest, so likely just above 40". it's for dart stroke and very close situations.

imo, jump cues should be banned altogether. and i'm a fairly good jumper.

I tried both. Full length of Air Rush works for me. Just wish the short length was an inch or two longer

A friend of mine has this tiny little thing he uses one handed (obviously illegal) and he does some crazy things with it

I'm a fan of jumping
