There are some truths to your words, but in Archies case what was he chasing? As FB said I believe, he was living in his car to save gambling money. The mind is a strange thing sometimes and it takes all kinds to make the world go around as you said above. This does not change the fact that many are unhappy in their lives whether they have money or not. So what is the truth? What is it that we seek? I would argue money is a tool or a mode of transportation allowing us to experience life. In the end, misuse of money is destructive.
