it is only one set. My buddy claimed they played many times..I think the vids are in YouTube.
Blondahl beat Efren one set to 7, I believe. imo, that is like a race to 5pt in 3c, hardly a test.
Could be, I guess.it is only one set. My buddy claimed they played many times..
No.
Blomdahl was brought up in a 3c family. I believe his dad perhaps won a world cup and was definitely swedish champ at one point.
I also know blomdahl played a pocket billiards league in years past.
I believe BvM has commented on the senior blomda's palmares.lennart b was a very good billiards player some 50 years ago. don't think he won anything big internationally but then again he didn't have the same opportunities as torbjörn. hard to know how he would have fared in full intl competition (this was the ceulemans / japanese era).
both blomdahls have played pool but only occasionally. i've heard lennart was better in pool but that is also relative to contemporary (swedish) competition.
Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good.So if .8 is beyond good is 1.8 bad???
Ah, not the best outing for either player. Here's Matlock v. P. Gonzalez
Starts at approx 6:40
$138 round trip flights from DC...lolAnybody ever near Olathe you need to contact Shooter's and hook-up with 'ol Dave. I don't think he works anymore but he's there a lot and loves to play 3c. They have a heated Gabriels table.
Maybe, unprovable though.
What is provable, however: USA hasn't been able to produce an internationally competitive player for decades.
And yes, i'll happily call sang lee American, though he was hardly a result of the USA billiard scene.
