Mosconi Cup 2024, Nov. 30-Dec. 3, Orlando

Realistically, Billy and Tyler got away with murder in that match. They missed multiple safe opportunities, and it wasn't really close. America players need to take advantage of absolutely every chance, and that includes executing safes at a distance.

You remind me of Debbie Downer from SNL. LOL

The commentator just called SVB a loner.

Anyone else think that is inappropriate?
Guy is very much a loner. Turns off the hearing aides and tunes out. He is his own worst critic...total perfectionist and hates to lose.

Billy, Tyler, Sky doing their jobs...Shane and Fedor need to step up at this point
Surprised they put out Styer and Billy early or at all. Lucky to win with them. Now Fedor and SCB gotta hit a high gear.

I honestly think it might be time for USA to drop Shane from Mosconi.

He struggles in this team format.

That kind of was my point, Gorst _hasn't_ put down any roots in the US, Jayson has. The _actual_ nationality has no relevance, this is an exhibition.
Not according to Mr. Google's AI Overview:

In the Mosconi Cup, a player is eligible to play on Team Europe if they are from a European country, and on Team USA if they are from the United States; essentially, a player's nationality determines which team they can play on.

Key points about Mosconi Cup team selection:
  • Nationality based:
A player's eligibility is solely based on their country of origin, with European players playing for Team Europe and American players for Team USA.

  • Captain selection:
The captains of each team choose the players for their respective squads, typically based on their performance in the preceding year on the world pool tour.

  • No mixed teams:
There is no provision for players to play on a team other than the one corresponding to their nationality.

What if the country the player is from isn't recognized as a country at all?
