Just wanted to share, this cue hopefully by end of day will be something
I can have. A 1960s that is almost the same as Hawaiian Brian Hashimoto used.
There were a handfull of these made so it is a rare model.

The cue was purchased in 1969 for about $1550 in 2024 currency.

This cue played:

US Open 9-Ball Chesapeake, VA 1992.
US Open Straight Pool Championship East Brunswick, NJ 2009.
Over 5 decades of Professional Tournaments.
That is Jasmin Ouschan he beat in photo.

Our gentleman professional player is still ranked in Top 15 Fargo Rate of the United States as of 2024. A greater gentleman player you won't find.

So Calvin Coker then? Never heard of him before today and I've looked at that Fargo list quite a few times.

Actually top 10 since there's quite a few that are not actually "american" on the USA list

Very nice old Tad. This one's a bit unusual, as it has Bushka-stale rings on the joint collars, rather than the more typical maple box rings.

I have 3 VERY old Tads. I spoke to Fred a month ago, I’m going to have him get me LoA’s on them. They are way before Tad started numbering his cues.

Those Tads in the pics above are 😍

Can I see them?
Yes. Happy to show you.

I’ll be back in America right at Christmas, we can figure out something then. I don’t have pics of them, I never photograph my cues. I have Tads from every decade.

I’ll drop you a PM

Best
Fatboy😃
