Can't play no mo blues.

Where do you find backgammon games Fatboy? I play a little bg and I aggravated a disc again playing pool the other day so I'm wondering if my pool playing time is winding down
Where are you at?

There’s lots of BG around, I play all over the world. It’s like pool, some areas are better than others.

I’m happy to steer you into some good spots. It’s social as well as action much like pool. Can be either or structured tourneys, local clubs etc. Even games in parks and coffee shops.

Download shooter´s pool. When I am sick I play that. It is very close to real billiards simulation.

I sure hope so! In the few days leading up to this I was playing the best I've ever played. I've had disc problems since I was 20 but for the past 5-6 years I've never had a flare up, which is the longest I've ever gone without issues
Maybe this is just a one off for ya. Hope for the best. Good luck.

I used to live in Modesto 35 years ago.

I just checked the directory for Ca clubs. Nothing close to Fresno. That’s the tournament style players.

I know there’s lots of backgammon in Fresno as there’s a large Assyrian community in Fresno. I’ll ask around and dig a little deeper for you.

Turned 71 and am playing as good if not better than I ever have.

Some of that is paying more attention to what I’m doing, how I’m doing it, and just plain old grizzled experience gained to stay a footstep ahead of the youngsters. I try and avoid death march sessions/tournaments but am still game on ocassion.

Bad joints run in my family: feet, knees, hips, back but I just ignore all that and keep moving. Had the cataracts removed so I see great.

When the day inevitably comes that, for whatever reason, I can no longer play at a level I find acceptable my plan is to sit down and finish my book. And hopefully I will find some fulfillment emersing myself in that project.

I will have ten copies printed so it will eventually become the rarest book on pool ever printed, lol.
