Turned 71 and am playing as good if not better than I ever have.
Some of that is paying more attention to what I’m doing, how I’m doing it, and just plain old grizzled experience gained to stay a footstep ahead of the youngsters. I try and avoid death march sessions/tournaments but am still game on ocassion.
Bad joints run in my family: feet, knees, hips, back but I just ignore all that and keep moving. Had the cataracts removed so I see great.
When the day inevitably comes that, for whatever reason, I can no longer play at a level I find acceptable my plan is to sit down and finish my book. And hopefully I will find some fulfillment emersing myself in that project.
I will have ten copies printed so it will eventually become the rarest book on pool ever printed, lol.
