Gotta love the weather nerds with all their radar and funky terms/names. Apparently i'm about to experience a major PV, polar vortex in nerd-speak. Supposed to get below zero here which around here IS rarer than libs at a Trump bar-b-q. Hope i live, wish me luck. ;)

-5 here right now. Remember when they just said;”it’s freaking cold outside?”

Minus 17 thismorning by me, even my dog doesn't like it.

Oh Indeed it must be a Vortex! A member of The Citizens Forum Patrol posting an NPR topic to the Main forum. Oh Lord! SAY IT AIN'T SO! 😉
when checking the weather should you: look outside or look at the radar last? Kinda leaning towards RL(radar last) weather updates. only put it here 'cause NPR is nothing but a politic dumpster-fire. Weather like this affects a bunch of people who don't give a fk about politics.

I'm enjoying this lovely weather from north of Syracuse(oswego), where are the rest of you?
High country, Colorado. Only had five inches today...felt like a day off.
Most of our neighborhood streets are one lane now. It will take a month for me and a crew of 30 to clean this storm up. 8 Cat loaders, 8 Freightiner plows and one Cat road grader.:p

It's warmed up to - 18 below zero here in the Snow Hole in Central Montana , we've had as low as -38 below zero within the last week or so .
The snow birms along most of the roads are close to 6' - 8' tall with 2'+ worth of snow on the flat until it drifts some of our snow drifts were 4' with others 8' don't you just love it !
