Our next event is around the corner.
We plan to have 2 more this year with some European players joining as well.
Save your spot!

Cheers

3c tournaments are way to expensive, never seen one under triple digit entry fee
The only way that it makes sense for the better out of town players to enter is if the prize fund (and entry fee) is higher. Jimmy's gets some top players to show up for their major events including Patiño and Piedrabuena.

Jimmy's has lots of other tournaments for the local players.

local 3c tournaments are the same price in houston $100/250, and not advertised to the public.
word of mouth

Maybe they want to keep it that way -- local action for local players. And $100 isn't as much as it used to be.
right, they dont want the 3c road huslters blowing in and out of town with everyones money and spreading the word theres suckers in houston

We have local only tournaments every Friday entry fee is $40
And first Sunday of every month $80
Bob Jewett is right. If prize fund isn’t attractive enough then top players won’t come.

Weekly tournaments arent for top players
they kill weekly tournaments and dont buy anything
Agreed they hardly bring any money. Bringing in top players more for our local players benefit. I have been trying to elevate the local level and hopefully produce a couple of 1+ average players. Having some master level players coming the area brings some energy to game and also to my regular customers.
I hear that level of game is higher in Texas and I see world class players regularly play in there. Maybe one day I will be able to come and visit.
