Scammers hijacking accounts

Start a PM discussion with them. A scammer will often try to move it to email. Or, call them.

Second vote for call.
If you're spending over $500 on a cue a call should not be an issue with any seller.
There has also been a recent wave of eBay auctions with photos stolen from FB "just for show" posts. How there able to rip-off eBay I have no clue unless their mailing fake sticks or something and then fighting with the buyer but that seems tedious and a lot of work for not a lot of money.
I am fairly done buying and selling cues - maybe one or two here or there but mostly just going to play what I now own going forward, Happy that I got through about 30 years of this cue and case commerce without getting burnt too badly.
Things are getting out of hand in many ways and I fear that AI will even compound the problems in the future - it has been a great run though - I feel fortunate and always remember - Buyer Beware and Buyer be Smart!

call and google their number to see if he is the real person(the same name as you are dealing with). and then look at his mailing address on google earth and see what it looks like.(and decide if that place looks like a real home or business)
and have a pic of him with the product.(that tells if he has the product and what he looks like compared with other clues you have)

Wear solid footwear. It may not get you a refund, but I'll tell you there is no better feeling than wiping the blood off steel-toed boots, knowing it came from the scammer that refused to refund your money. What's really funny...they don't think they can be found.

Yes, I didn't know this website was setup for 2FA support. Just checked in passwords and security and enabled it. Unfortunately, there is no text / SMS 2FA option.
Everyone should do this!

I have a cue being build by a famous maker and its probably it. I will shoot with it and sell all the competition/production cue I have.
Lots of guys going in this direction bc the cue market is so messed up now from all the Facebook and E bay non auction listings BS that really ruined it IMO

Nah, use the same password for everything, especially banking. And only about 6 lowercase letters is plenty.
The same hacker who got control of BryanMordt's account last week and listed a Kikel cue for sale also just hacked the account of brandoncook26 (an account with 46 positive transactions) and listed the same Kikel cue for sale as well as a Nitti cue.
