Crical Pro- great Amazon deal

I still didn't hit any balls. My table is full of crap.

First impression is for $100 it's a good cue. I'd say it's not for a player due to the taper, even for the price. But for a banger, it's a good buy. I may change that opinion if it makes a clunk noise or something like that upon playing it.

I actually super like the aesthetic of the carbon fiber butt.

IDK if they have different shaft tapers available. The amazon link I bought it from did not make it seem that way. And I would 100% not buy it from anywhere other than Amazon. I don't need the return hassle from another company.

The Konleen I bought 3 years ago had a nice taper. I haven't seen a taper like this since the full 13mm wood shaft with ivory ferrule days.

The taper on the Crical is long like the Rhino's. Maybe you got a 3c shaft?

IDK what it was supposed to be, but I got this one from the link you had. It's a tree trunk. 12.4 or so mm at the tip, but then a big taper, about like a carom cue. Edit, Its actually more like a strong tapered break shaft, not a carom shaft.

As to the brands the Chinese cue business is a tad different. You have lots of factories/shops turning out product and most do not sell to the public. Instead you get people who pick/use/buy a name(like Predator for ex.) and then they retail the products. Very well likely Crical, Konllen,Flowers are all owned by same person/co. There are suppliers in China that do sell direct like OKHealing who started out making cf oars for boats/kayaks then morphed into cue shafts. Pool is a big business in China/Asia and there is a shitload of makers/suppliers.

I hit balls with it about 30 min today. I took a bunch of pictures and video, was going to make a short youtube later. (not sure I will). The hit is fine, no quality issues there. Deflection is more than a Predator but not too high. So decent there. The tip was a bad shape, like a pencil point. I didn't reshape it. The taper is just horrible. I took pictures and measurements of it every 4 inches. Garczar must have been shipped a different shaft than me.

If it wasn't for the taper, I'd say it's a good buy. With the taper I got, I would not recommend.

UPDATE- playing feedback- First a few vital statistics: 58", 19oz(no bolt. threaded bore so you could add), BP is 19" from butt end, 12.4mm with nice taper with little growth over first 15" and a butt diam. of 1.24". Tip is some random blue layered and on this cue feels like a med-to-hard. For me a tad softer tip would be better on this cue. Cue is pretty stiff and just a tad 'pingy'. Driving the cb around the table is really easy, deflection is about the same as i recall the Rhino. Had no issues using spin to pocket balls and move cb around. That's really about it, at my price of 155bux all in(that includes the 3" ext) this cue is a steal. Use it as main player or as one badass back-up/bar beater.

Intradesting.

Thanks for the report and I'm looking one just to break. Seeing as the carbon shafts is in its element with breaking.
