I think that's why they're called custom cues.perhaps someone put in an order for a custom cue with an Wavy pin and Ariel made it.
I like how 3/x10 (modified or not) have the threads all the way up as I think it makes threading easier and more thread contact area.Radial pin or 3/8x10 modified, what's the big deal? Would it make any difference in how the cue plays? Much ado about nothing.
Cue was bought from a reputable seller on Facebook. It is a beautiful cue.Was this cue originally purchased at Seyberts? It looks like Seybert's had several cues similar to yours, but all of their cues had "imitation" ivory inlays. Yours is really nice!!!
Well, for one thing, the potential buyer might have other cues with the same pin and he doesn’t want to deviate because of having carbon fiber, Kielwood, or other special shafts they purchased or otherwise acquired. Getting a cue with a different pin complicates matters. I should know. I have six cues with 3 different big pins. So I bought a radial pin KW shaft but only have 1 cue it fits. The others have 3/8x10 & 3/8x11 pins. Do you see where I’m heading?Radial pin or 3/8x10 modified, what's the big deal? Would it make any difference in how the cue plays? Much ado about nothing.
