Not sure I understand what you are getting at actually?
Maybe the timing has everything to do with what is a good available time to pull something like this off? There are so many pool events that schedules and timings are limited. Not only that, but with Pechauer being a main sponsor, and being from Green Bay, that probably has something to do with it also.
One other thing I noticed, no Allison Fisher likeness on the flyer?

maybe just an omission. would be kind of odd if she didn't play when it's in the USA

This appears to me as having a 4th of July Celebration as a part of the scheduled events. Why would the non-American players want to participate in our 4th of July celebration?
 
I don't know, not that big of a deal really, well except for the britts. Green Bay is a fun town, and I think they have something planned at the stadium also. Looks like they are just listing things to do if you want, I mean, there will be more than players come for this.
Seems like a plus, not a minus to me.
