I Want A New Cue

Can anybody help me find a new cue? Preferable mostly ebony with ivory or bone inlays. Nothing too elaborate. And no wood to wood joints. And no used ones. I am not interested in buying your cue no matter how little you played with it.

Can anybody point me in the right direction? Any cuemakers got some for sale? Or websites?

I haven't bought a new cue in 4-5 years now so I am way overdue. Also, one last thing - I prefer one that makes balls as compared to most of the ones I have now that seem to always miss balls.

Besides the wood to wood joint, I got something very similar to what you are describing from JFlowers. I got it for league as I didn't want to carry an expansive custom cue and I wanted something that I can attach an extension to. I've upgraded it to the SMO shaft, it plays awesome, I really like it.

They have a lot of cues with overlays but this one is with real inlays

I am Surprised many don't know that's an option.

Do you want one guaranteed to make x balls per hour? Or a certain percentage? Or a lifetime average for the cue?

After 5 years your cue may have run out of good shots. Some makers will refill them, some just make you buy a new shaft, some a whole new cue.

A new one with a shot guarantee can be costly. You might have to go to the crossroads and make a deal with the De*il.

Of course, one could always practice. But if your cue ran out of shots even that is a problem.

What the OP wants is called a Tuxedo cue and I use to own one. Not to be confused with fake ivory. Then its not a tuxedo. I try to reserve the tuxedo description for ivory.

It would be great to have one right now since I heard Ebony is/will be banned due to its population reduction. Ivory is already banned. So what we have here is a very desirable cue.

Mine was all ebony decked out with ivory with ivory joints and ferrule. I use to break with it too so the joint was split :( Wished I still had it. Didn't match my clothes but was a pretty good shooter. Decent. Not great.

My cues were built for looks and closets. If anyone wants to buy one ..do not give me a bad rating if a ball goes in.

Not that I condone the useage of ivory in this day and age where we know better... but when I was in Taiwan, I could see a lot of it around, and I imagine a trip there would be easy enough to find someone to source it and put that in a cue for you... Lots of people there still use ivory for things like 'chops' (making a stamp they use for authenticating documents), jewellery and other trinkets. Although it is not technically legal there, it takes about a second of mentioning it before someone excitedly shows you a secret stash they have in a safe hidden under a desk or behind a cabinet... and allthough I have never met a cue maker there, I've met a handful of people with more ivory then I have ever seen...

You don't need a new cue. I'm willing to bet there's plenty of shots left in yours. It's just that over time they migrate to the butt end of the cue and you need to move them back up to the shaft.
Simply point the cue at the ground and smack the butt with your palm (think ketchup bottle) to get them back up into the shaft...
But if you still want a new cue I just planted a grove of ebony trees, so once they are done growing and my baby walrus looses his tusks I'll be happy to build you one.

Lol 😉 too much ???

You need a practice cue. That way you won’t be using up all the good shots in your game cue. The price of your cue determines how many good shots are in it. If it looks nice, that is just a side benefit.

You guys forgot... with a cue that makes balls, you have to buy a stroke too.
I always stop by the store to buy a stroke on my way to the pool hall.

If anyone wants to buy a stroke let me know, for only $1,000.00, paid by Zelle only, I can tell you where the store is located.

Hurry! Don't be left out. This offer is limited to the first 20 players only!

Paying for your stroke? I didn't know OnlyFans or PornHub had physical locations :ROFLMAO:

Tuxedo Cue. I like the moniker. Friend of mine had a Bludworth like that. Cost him 3k at the time. He played super with it too. Whatever floats your boat.

I have no stroke. I just kind of poke the white ball.
