I know that it’s probably the same chalk as the Taum V10 but I like the square cube better than the round shape of the Taum.

I got it of his shop on Ebay and got a free pair of Pagulayan socks 😂
So if you need chalk and socks, you know where to go hahaha

Are they a standard size so they can fit in typical chalk holders?

Did they change the size? Mine are not as tall as a standard cube (I guess you could always shim that in a holder).

Pagulayan chalk squares are shorter than Masters. I put two new Le Pro cue tips in the bottom of my in-pocket holder to boost Pagulayan.

The chalk does fit in a standard holder, I have an old one that is short so it fits great hight wise.
I guess that you can pad a taller holder.

The chalk is shorter than the standard like Masters but will last longer.

The chalk is short, the socks are short and Alex is short so I guess there is a theme here 😂

Alex is indeed short….but he discovered that he was a half inch taller than Mario Morra, Johnny’s father…so he started patting him on the head like a child….which upset Mario. 🥹

I don’t have any 100 year old socks to post pics of……

thank god for that

I used to keep quite a few pool cue chalks around, a small collection of used chalks; I never thought of them as collectibles. Some were in different colours for different cloth colours, and some were more suitable to different humidity conditions. In the end I always went back to Masters, although I was using the Blue Diamond chalk until the Taum V10. I was thinking to myself that there is no way in hell that I'm paying that much for a chalk... but again my curiosity got the best of me, and now I'm sold on these just because they keep my hands, clothes, my case and pool ball clean. A piece of chalk can hold for me up to more than a year, so $25 a year or even 6 months is something I can live with.

if you want to imitate a pro then instead of his equipment watch how they plan future shots for the the best routes to get position and follow that.
in place of playing position just on the next shot or two.

Do you mean that if I wear the Pagulayan socks for league tonight, I won’t play like a pro?

Good too have you around 😉

There’s some 100 year old round chalk
I used to use exclusively National chalk when I was young….then I found myself using Master after a couple years.
At Dufferin Cue, I usually ended up in Al Selinger’s office….I was his street connection….chalk came up….he found it amazing that I followed a chalk through a name change….Master chalk used to be National…they bought National and renamed it….Al told me my instincts had followed the chalk. He made a deal with Master that week for exclusive Canadian rights.
