Every now and then I see a reel on Facebook of Efren or others playing on a table that says Star Billiards on the side.

What exactly is Star Billiards? Is it an Asian company that makes pool/billiard tables? Sort of like Brunswick or Diamond here in the states?

A Chinese company named Star makes tables, including snooker tables that are used on the pro touir. Maybe the same?

Yeah I watched a tournament I thought was being played on a Diamond table, but no BIG Diamond logo, just Yalin

Yalin, Aileex, Rasson yada yada yada, there's more than a few Chinese/TW table manufacturers. The Star tables in Philippines is a filipino domestic brand I think.

I quite like Yalin tables, but I have only ever played on ones that are fairly generous. Never thought to compare beyond 'they look similar' at the time. The Aileex tables that used to be at my local were basically Brunswick doppelgängers. There's a company that makes Rasson looking tables now, but I forget the name of them.
