I played at a place in San Diego that were nothing but Korean pool tables. They are built nicely but they play different than your usual Daimond.

For those mentally challenged members, I have never said there are NONE. Which race predominates?
Further, I was simply making an observation. My view is that racism is wrong and must be addressed and eliminated EVERYWHERE. PERIOD. Until a condition is acknowledged, it cannot be remedied. We cannot fix what does not exist. It's like a fearful child thinking, "If I close my eyes it all goes away."
I hope I am being clear enough, but I can't do a thing for those lacking capacity.

I live in rural Iowa. We have about 6-10 Black pool players (some from the US some from other countries), that play somewhat regularly at the pool hall. We have several Hispanic players. A couple of the Black players are from the Caribbean so hell for all I know they may consider themselves Hispanic...
All in all, nobody gives a shit either way. We're all just people. I wouldn't even waste their time asking them something like this. Not that I couldn't or would feel weird about it, just I don't like asking people dumb shit that has no bearing on anything.

years ago, The Green Room in Tucker, GA was a very nice place, diverse players, owned by a black guy.
Here’s something bad from back in the day. I had occasion to meet an old Filipino boxer a while back, rest his soul. He fought out of New Orleans in the Jim Crow era. Had to go to court to be able to box against white fighters in Louisiana. He won the case and got to fight the white guys. His biggest fight was against Sugar Ray Robinson, but that didn’t happen in New Orleans. How screwed up it was back then.

We had a "black" poolroom and a "white" poolroom - everybody at the B PR played full rack banks, the W PR was mostly 9 ball - 2 different neighborhoods, but i spent most of my time in the B PR playing full rack banks. Most of the better white players played League on bartables at bars. Quite a bit of 5 -20/game back then, early 90s
