There was no clock on the Seoa/Ouschan main table match, but the Styer/Makkonen match did have the ref announcing ten/five.
YesShane's in a nice rhythm. 3-0
Aged like milk and I'm not going to complain about it.That didn’t age well
Up until recently, I would have put Chezka, Rita Chou, Tkatch, Wei Wei and probably Jasmine ahead of her. Seoa has posted on her Instagram that she was unhappy with her mental game and was working on it. Given her win in Indonesia a week or so ago, along with her showing so far, whatever she's been doing is working. It's fair to say her stock is going up.I don't follow Women's pool, but I assume Seoa is the best player?

Good for Hohmann. It’ll be nice to see him going all the way for good old times… I was there in Cardiff when he won it.through to SE:
grabe, alcaide, tyler, konrad, melling, hohmann, maciol, pecelj

Seo is not a replacament for Amit AFAIK, if Rubilen did not withdraw both of them would have been here in Jeddah.also siming chen, rubilen amit and han yu.. so she's top 7 at best. but young and improving. her playing at this event is btw because rubilen (current women's 9b champ) got health problems, she is a replacement
Fair point but I just don’t see him returning to be a major contenderI’m not exactly a fan but overrated isn’t fair. He won 2 world championships 5 years apart, 2 World Cups, an international open, and several runner ups in major events. Dude is a monster
My question is quite the opposite: why are they allowed to be in this? As long as women have their own 9-ball worlds, men are entitled to have the same. And it used to be like this, until MR decided they need to drop Fallon Sharrock (inquiring minds are free to google this) into the lion's den. Well, Fallon did surprisingly good on her debut year (unlike next attempts). So following these footsteps MR invites some women to compete with men in pool. Oh well, oh well. Why did no women enter this event?
Is it financial backing...
Based on her shirt, Seoa has a lot of sponsors, including LG!
Oh please, women have always been allowed to enter open events. Would you have banned Jean Balukas from the straight pool world championship? My question is quite the opposite: why are they allowed to be in this? What I'm saying is there were no women at 9-ball WPCs that were intended for men. For some 30 years since I started to follow. I'm fine with what you call an "open" event, but let me tell that as long as a "9-ball women WC" exist, please keep the same for men. Who won't have to be dealing with women or kids.Oh please, women have always been allowed to enter open events. Would you have banned Jean Balukas from the straight pool world championship?
