the “brunswick” says “brunswick since 1845”

there is no ball holder. there is a bridge holder on one side and there are no pegs for the racks. the legs are square. 5” pockets.

thanks gar.

how does one tell the difference or find out more ?
call B'wick. these were a couple notches below G'Crowns. Decent table if set up right. The 8ft versions used to be in every room in Dallas. IIRC the Supreme had octagonal legs and a lil nicer finish but same basic table. Supreme: https://brunswick.pastperfectonline.com/library/5E96B3CA-B4CE-4ABE-BCDE-265715027284 Century:https://brunswick.pastperfectonline.com/library/D89F64AC-263A-4394-8130-968910254703 They're tougher than they look, took a lot of abuse in Dallas rooms and some are still around. Most have been replaced with Diamonds but some still exist.

Brunswick tends to be very helpful directly. Probably part of the reason they are still around.

Their online historic materials are invaluable. Hats off to them again for creating and maintaining that.

the centurion is basically a century with gold crown style legs. the current black wolf is really just a repackaged centurion. again, decent tables but a long way from a GC or any other true commercial use worthy piece. I can't picture anyone paying 6G's for a new BW.

Looks like i got a century supreme due to the lack of ball holders.

super cool. i play on the gandy in the background because its softer but i think switching to the bwick will be good for my game. The sides play more like a diamond whereas the gandy side pocket facings can be hit with a wide margin of speeds and angles and still take the ball.

the gandy rails have been acting goofy, lately, too. Hard banks like to jump off the rails and sometimes balls seemingly lose zero speed on the bounce, but only sometimes. Ive had enough.
