Favorite tips so far.

I have been trying various tips lately, and so far my favorite tip is the Ultrskin Ivory for a playing tip.
Bulletproof Recoil is currently my second favorite.

Tiger Everest. How does the G2 compare to a well used and broken in Everest?? Looking for something a little more consistent thru its life, I had McDermott make a new shaft for me, I requested an Everest but I forgot to ask them to knock off a couple of layers like I normally do with my regular guy. I plays way too soft right now.

I've used either a Zan Hybrid Max when I can find them or a Taom Fusion mostly on Revos the last couple years. I recently got an Ultraskin Fire medium and a Caiden Fighter medium installed on some backup shafts and will try them out soon. Next on the list is a Caiden Warrior whenever I have a shaft that needs a replacement.

On various other shafts I have: Kamui Athlete medium, Kamui Clear Black medium, Thoroughbred medium, Tiger Sniper, Predator Victory medium and probably a couple I'm forgetting. I like most but got tired of the glazing with the Clear Black, which is why I switched to the Zan.

I've got a Revo going into Predator for the recharge service and will get a Victory soft on it to try out softer tips. I've been reading that a softer tip on a CF shaft is sometimes beneficial. I usually hit very hard so it might help to offset that a little.

I've gone through a looot of tips in the last 6 months. To list a few honorable mentions - I like the Kamui Brown Hard a lot, it's a great tip. The Tiger Sniper felt good for a few days, then firmed up a lot more than I like a soft tip to. Kamui Brown Clear glazed over too quickly for my liking, but hit well. Triangle is a fine tip, as is the Le Pro, for the prices, probably the best out there still.

Now, the one I finally settled on for good, for now at least, is the ZAN MAX hybrid. It's got the best of all the worlds, and it's super easy to install and work with.

I'm not sure how they would compare the Tiger Everest to the G2 . I purchased a new to me pool cue that had a G2 tip on it , after I got used to it I totally enjoy playing with that cue and tip combination as I was getting better English and control .

Granted this sounds a bit far fetched but true just how much I enjoy playing with my Mike Gulyassy cue !
