Is Championship cloth faster than simonis 860?

I have 860 on my GClll which is in a covered outdoor patio which is subject to humidity. It plays slow as molasses! You need a blasting cap to open up a rack when shooting a break shot in straight pool.

Hard to answer your question, there's about 6 different kinds of Championship cloth, what is the model name of the cloth you currently have on your table?
Good question .

When I used to cover tables I would tell people championship tournament cloth was a good alternative if your trying to save some money. Now last I checked it’s almost as expensive as somonis so you might as well get that.

Coming into this a bit late, but my regular pool room normally installs Championship cloth on the tables, and I'm not sure what level or grade it may be. However, in my experience, it starts out slower than Simonis 860 because the Championship starts out with a bit of a rougher texture than the Simonis. Once it smooths out over use, assuming it gets cleaned, Championship cloth speeds up. Your mileage may vary.

From what I have gathered if you put Simonis 760 on a Diamond Professional table with their Artemis cushions it would be about as fast as a table can be.

Is that correct?

No, it's not. Simonis also makes a cloth for Carom tables. I believe it's called 360, but not sure. Faster than 760.

But if we are talking just for pool tables with traditional pool table cloth.......a Diamond Professional with Simonis 760 would be about as fast as a table could get.

Correct?

Correct?
Only if the cutoff is 760 or equivalent. Bed sheet would be way faster. Not that you'd want to trade table speed but the faster it is the leveler it <has> to be.

Assuming it was installed correctly, I would say yes. However, I have heard of, but not used, a Cloth called Gorina. Supposedly this cloth is used on both pool and carom tables, so I don't know if it is faster than Simonis 760 or not.

I've played on Gorina/Granito. Dunno if there's a distinction. The rail logo said Gorina.
It was the most satisfying pool ever to come out my stick. The whole range of CB - effortless.

Would you say that is faster than Simonis 860, or 760? I have heard of it.
