Was? Is he gone? I saw him 3-4 months ago.
I'm sure others know his level better than I do but I'd say (from what i remember), at his best he was about a 665 if there was a Fargo back then. I've only faced him on the bar box but a friend once told me he was even better on the big track.

He still plays but not at the level he once did.
I was around the same but don't play much anymore so I bounce between 610-620.
If I played more than once every month or two I could raise that a bit but have no motivation to do so.
Why did you ask "How good was he?"
You make it sound like he passed or can no longer play.
I don't know much about him. Just heard he was a good player. Didn't mean to sound as if he wasn't around anymore. 610-620 and only play about once a month is impressive.
Are there any strong money players in your area?
It's the Chicago area. More money players there than crooked politicians.
