Please help with thoughts about unknown / Unmarked Pool Cue?

The cue looks very interesting, and beautiful to me.

But, would like to hear some thoughts for you guys, just going by these pics, which are not mine.

Here is what I see. Nice looking wood, with a Leather(?) wrap. Flat Faced 5/16x18 Joint, with a rubber bumper that reminds me of the 80's era Viking cues.

Anyways, what do you think I think?

Does it look like a high quality cue to you?

Thanks for any thoughts..

Justin, people around here are more than glad to assist others with knowledge, and there is lots to be learned around here. But when you ask for advice on every single cue you see for sale somewhere, so you can see if it might be a good enough deal that you can flip it and squeeze ten bucks out of it, it is like you are trying to make AzBilliards your own personal assistant. People don't tend to like being used as personal assistants, and the repetitiveness of the requests starts to wear thin on people as well.

If you would like to be able to hang around here indefinitely this time around, as I am sure you would, my friendly advice would be to keep the "please tell me everything you know about this cue and its value" requests to a minimum, maybe a maximum of one a week or something, so you don't end up wearing thin on people again (and I can already feel it starting to happen).

Lol, speaking of pool cue knowledge, I feel that I have a lot more of it then most people. And, you are making baseless assumptions about me, when you really do not know what you are talking about. And, please speak for yourself. You do not speak for this entire forearm. I have recently asked about a few cues, and I have not been on this forum in many years. You are treating me like this is something that I am doing every day. And, please do not talking down to me, like you are better then me. You are not better then me. If you are an Admin, and you wish to ban me, then that is fine. I will just stick to Reddit in the future.

If you have no opinion about the cue I asked about, then you can move along, and ignore the post.

By the way, I am no longer flipping cues. I am too broke for that. This last year has been really hard, and I have hit rock bottom again. Just looking for something cheap to hit some balls with. That is the only reason I asked about this cue.

I will take any future questions to reddit from now on though.

Whatever the reason for so many of the "tell me all about this cue that is for sale" requests so close together, doing that is like making the forum you own personal assistant, and that wears on people, and even more so with your previous years of history of doing it here in the past.

I've actually defended you in the past, and may do so again, because I know you don't mean any harm, I think you just don't realize how much that ultimately wears on some people and is what has resulted in your bans in the past and I don't want to see that happen to you again. I wasn't trying to talk down to you, just offer some friendly advice so that maybe you could avoid that this time around. I'd like to see you be able to hang out around here, and I know you would too. All the best.

I have been talked down to my entire life. I know when I am being talked down to. It always starts with "Justin, and so on", followed by some sort of a lecture.

I just counted how many cues I have asked about in the last few months. Maybe 3, or 4. And, you are lecturing me as if I am doing it daily.

You may not believe this, but I have a lot of pool cue knowledge, and I have helped a lot of people identify their cues in the past.

Whenever I see someone looking for help on their cue, and I am able to help, I always help with what I know, when I can. And, I never talk down to others, or bash them.

If you do not like a post, then you do not have to reply, or even click on the post. You can just move on.

So, please speak for yourself. Do not act like you are speaking for everyone that comes to this forum.

And, do not forget why forums were created.

You are again missing the point. Maybe I have incorrectly estimated the count for how often it has been, but however often this has been, has been too often for many people so my friendly suggestion would be to slow it down.

I know this because this amount of often was too often for many people in the past, plus I have seen recent indication from others that the recent pattern has been too often. This is what has led to your bans in the past. Anyway, not telling you what to do, only the mods can do that, just trying to point out something I don't think you have been able to pick up on in the past and which led to your downfall as a result, but it is obviously up to you how much thought or weight to give to my suggestion. Just sincerely trying to help, even though you aren't seeing that either. I've done my part though, good luck.

Were forums not created to discuss things, and talk about things? To get opinions on stuff? Have I asked for any cue values, for example? No, I have not. In this posting for example, I only asked for opinions about the cue. That is all. If you have nothing helpful to add, then you should just move along. I did not come here to be lectured.

I just learned of the Ignore Feature. You just hover your mouse pointer over the persons user ID, and then click on the Ignore Feature. Then you never have to see anything that User ever posts again, I assume.

if that cue is straight and hits well for a couple hundred or less you would do fine as a playing cue.

but if low on cash any cue that you find that hits well is the cue to own. that is the purpose of a cue not its looks.

Think you'd better go back to Carbondalekid386 with Reddit. You might get some responses there.
