People have different techniques (object ball vs cue ball last) based on the shot.
I know, but I saw him do this many times with all shots.

There's no one way with CBL.
Not all shots require CBL. Everything might be in the heart of your field of vision. Might not matter where you look.
Sometimes you gotta check the cue ball speed. Sometimes you get lazy and just cinch the shot.
I will say that if you perfect CBL, you won't miss. If you aren't methodical about the change-ups, you will.
