everything about this just seems weird as hell. for me the main thing is the price. he's giving this cue away and combine with the contact issues i'd stay well clear.

The OP texted me again late at night my time asking if I want to buy the cue but has all the alibi for simple proof I’m asking. New pictures or video call or simple phone call he won’t answer but he can text. As far as I’m concern I’m staying away from the seller.

This guy is obviously a scammer. He can not do any of the SIMPLE steps it takes that has been asked of him to do to complete his sell. Why? Because he does not have the cue! He has a buyer, but just exactly like the typical scammer with excuses, (my video isn’t working, I don’t have FaceTime, can I send you a photo with my name and that be good enough, etc excuse after excuse after excuse). If they can’t make a video and mention their name and my name in the video, they are not getting my money, period!
This is hilarious and sad imo. I'm 64, remember when you would go down to the local store and put up a photo and paper of what you were selling with paper tabs of your home phone numbers up on the community bulletin board and when someone called you they would meet and shake hands and either way shake hands again and go their separate way? Bet none of you don't. I'll say it again, I have 4 cues I'd like to sell because my retirement plans fell through (thought I would be buying a house big enough for a pool room with a display case I would have made with my own hands). I think I'm only allowed to sell one at a time since I'm technically a new member. So I started with this one. My good friend bought it for $1,600 in 2015, he bought it off recollection cues (I have his receipt). I bought it from him 1 year later for $1,000 and never played it (he didn't either). I think it's the most elegant cue I have ever seen. My friend who is on this site advised my cues with wooden shafts aren't "hot" any more and I'd be lucky to get what I paid for. Apparently I'm not asking enough LOL My offer still stands, $1,000 and I'll pay for shipping and I'm gonna ship it in a case. For those of you who actually believe I'm a straight up guy and sent me legit PM's I am discussions right now to sell this. Just waiting on the facetime and this gentlemen seems legit. If this falls through I'll go to the next guy that contacted me.
99.99% this person is a scammer. Can’t talk, but can text using multiple numbers and weird emails. Dont fall for this. I’m done with you sir. I hope admin will look into this and delete this thread.

Scammers have evolved. They vouch for each other. Even in Facebook one has almost 10k followers and have scammed a lot of buyers. As I’ve always said deal with caution. Simple request of posting picture with current date and username on a piece of paper beside the cue OP can’t do. I’ve been calling to talk no answer but he can text. And has been using multiple numbers or emails. For me I’m leaning towards a scam. And I’m not dealing with it. If it’s legit well good for seller and buyer.

The cue is all but sold, I had an awesome 52 minute facetime call with a gentleman that had enquired about the cue here, I definitely made a new friend

It’s funny I saw the post late evening and message the OP via pm and gave my number to text me which he did and we had this conversation. I really hope the OP is legit and the one messaging me is a scammer and different person. But what I can’t understand I only have my number to OP via PM. Anyways, I’ve said my piece and I’m done.
